Alejandro Gil

M.Sc. in Education with Teacher Leadership specialization, Alejandro has been an academic for over 18 years as full-time teacher, English coordinator, and higher education programmes director in different private institutions in Mexico.

He worked as Regional Academic Manager for ACT Education Solutions, training hundreds of teachers under the Global Assessment Certificate, an international university preparation program that provides students with the academic knowledge, skills, and confidence to thrive in an English-language bachelor's degree program.

Until 2021, as Head of Exams Business Development at the British Council Mexico, he developed and delivered the integrated cross portfolio Business Development and Sales strategy in Mexico and the Caribbean cluster.

Currently he is Head of Assessment for LATAM at Pearson Education. Alejandro is responsible for the sales strategy, consultancy and positioning of the assessment and international certification portfolio for the world’s leading learning company in 18 countries in the region.
