Joana is a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Sensei. Founded in 2017, Sensei is a European leading company of autonomous stores technology with presence in Europe and LATAM. With its proprietary Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence technology, Sensei has been a pioneer by opening the first autonomous store in continental Europe with SONAE (Lisbon, 2021), the first autonomous supermarket in Latin America in Brazil with Muffato Group (Curitiba, 2022), and more recently the first autonomous store in Italy with DAO (Verona, 2023).
