Clara Gonçalves

Biografia do Palestrante:

Clara acredita fortemente na Inovação e Tecnologia, com grande experiência em redes de conhecimento em todo o mundo, envolvendo comunidades acadêmicas, empresas e startups. Ela possui um diploma em Engenharia Agrícola na Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto e uma Especialização em Inovação, Conhecimento e Empreendedorismo pelo Departamento de Economia, Gestão e Engenharia Industrial da Universidade de Aveiro. Em 2020, ela também iniciou um MBA Executivo na Universidade Erasmus - Rotterdam School of Management, sendo premiada pelo Comitê de Bolsas de Estudo com uma Bolsa como vencedora selecionada do programa Mulheres na Liderança. Atualmente, Clara é co-fundadora de uma startup de Aprendizado Científico de Máquina, Inductiva Research Labs, ocupando o cargo de Diretora de Operações. Nos últimos 14 anos, ela trabalhou como Líder do Grupo de Finanças e Prospectiva no Instituto Fraunhofer em Portugal. Ela também foi Chefe de Inovação e Transferência de Tecnologia no Centro de Inovação da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Minho e Diretora Executiva da UPTEC - Parque de Ciência e Tecnologia da Universidade do Porto. Clara também foi Vice-Presidente da ENSICO - Escola de Computação e atualmente é membro do Comitê de Direção e principal organizadora da Escola de Verão \"Futuro da Computação\", além de ser membro do Conselho Consultivo da Firefly Innovations, uma Plataforma Empreendedora de Saúde Pública gerenciada pela City University de Nova York e pela IE Business School em Madrid. Clara também é membro e ex-aluna do Departamento de Estado dos EUA, no âmbito do programa de diplomacia IVLP - Programa Internacional de Liderança de Visitantes de 2016. Em 2018, Clara foi premiada como \"Campeã do Ano de 2018\" pela Rede de Negócios e Inovação (BIN), uma rede de conhecimento entre a Universidade do Porto, a Universidade de São Paulo e a Universidade de Sheffield.Clara is an Innovation and Technology Believer, with a big expertise in worldwide knowledge networks, involving academic communities, corporates and startups. She has a degree in Agricultural Engineering in the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto and a Specialization in Innovation, Knowledge and Entrepreneurship from the Department of Economics, Management and Industrial Engineering of the University of Aveiro. In 2020 she also started an Executive MBA at Erasmus University - Rotterdam School of Management being awarded by the Scholarship Awards Committee with a Scholarship as a selected winner of the Women in Leadership. Clara is currently Co-founder of a Scientific Machine Learning startup, Inductiva Research Labs assuming the position of Chief Operating Officer. In last 14 years, she worked as Finance and Foresight Group Leader at the Fraunhofer Institute in Portugal, she was also Head of Innovation and Technology Transfer at the Innovation Center of the School of Medicine of the University of Minho and Executive Director of UPTEC - Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto. Clara was also Vice President of ENSICO – Computing at School and is currently member of the Steering Committee and main organizer of the “Future of Computing” Summer School, as well as member of the Advisory Board of Firefly Innovations, a Public Health Entrepreneurial Platform managed by City University New York and the IE Business School in Madrid. Clara is also member and alumni of the US State Department, within the 2016 diplomacy program IVLP - International Visitor Leadership Program. In 2018 Clara was awarded “Champion of the Year 2018” by the Business and Innovation Network (BIN), a knowledge network between the University of Porto, the University of São Paulo and the University of Sheffield.
