Daniel Maeda

Biografia do Palestrante:

Ingressou na CVM (Comissão de Valores Mobiliários) em 2005. Foi gerente de Registros de Autorizações, entre 2009 e 2014, quando assumiu a Gerência de Estrutura de Mercado e Sistemas Eletrônicos. Passou a ser titular da Superintendência de Investidores Institucionais em 2016. A área é responsável pela supervisão da indústria de fundos com volume superior a R$ 7 trilhões e mais de 4 mil prestadores de serviço. Formado em Engenharia de direito, antes de ingressar na CVM trabalhou em órgãos de auditoria e instituição financeira.

He joined the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) in 2005. Daniel was Authorization Records Manager between 2009 and 2014, when he took over the Management of Market Structure and Electronic Systems. He became Head of the Institutional Investors Superintendence in 2016. The area is responsible for overseeing the fund industry, with AuM of more than R$ 7 trillion and over 4,000 service providers. Graduated in Engineering law, before joining the CVM he worked in audit bodies and financial institution.
