Biografia do Palestrante:

EN-USFabio Araujo, a Doctor of Economics and Telecommunications Engineer, has worked at the Central Bank of Brazil (BC) since 1998, where he directly participated in the implementation of the Inflation Targeting regime and subsequently dedicated himself to advising on monetary policy. More recently, he was Chief of Economic Affairs to the BC President and currently coordinates the work for the implementation of Drex, the digital real, and discussions on digital assets and tokenization at the BC.-PT-BRFábio Araujo, doutor em Economia e Engenheiro de Telecomunicações, trabalha no Banco Central do Brasil (BC) desde 1998, onde participou diretamente da implantação do regime de Metas de Inflação e, posteriormente, se dedicou ao assessoramento da condução da política monetária. Mais recentemente, foi chefe da assessoria econômica do presidente do BC e, atualmente, coordena os trabalhos para a implantação do Drex, o real no formato digital, e as discussões sobre ativos digitais e tokenização no BC.
