EN-USIara Vicente is the Founder of Nossa Terra Firme and Unkarya, two ventures that merge cutting-edge technology with socio-environmental impact in the Global South. Creator of the Evergreen Protocol and the Decentralized Forest Reserve Network, she develops blockchain-based solutions to protect forests and empower indigenous and local communities. A native of Acre, Brazil, Iara also serves as Visiting Faculty at Fundação Dom Cabral, teaching on the fields of tech and ESG. As recognition for her work, Iara was named one of the 50 Women BUIDL Blockchain by CryptoConexión, awarded the Casa Rio Gerações Award for Social Development, and received multiple global awards in tech hackathons (Solana/Paris, XRPL/Brazil, Arbitrum/Global), amongst other awards.-PT-BRIara Vicente é a Fundadora da Nossa Terra Firme e da Unkarya, duas empresas que fundem tecnologia de ponta com impacto socioambiental no Sul Global.
