Joana is a Master in Biodiversity and Plant Biotechnology. Her background includes experience at Tilray Portugal and the Meise Botanic Garden, focusing on plant care and propagation, seed conservation, and scientific research. At SilveiraTech, she is part of a pioneering project to regenerate 230 hectares in the Serra da Lousã, aiming to revitalize two ancient villages. The initiative integrates forest management, agricultural production, and ecological tourism to create a living space for biodiversity. The project aims to transform degraded landscapes into models of regeneration.
