EN-USIs a lawyer graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (1988) and has obtained an LL.M from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (1991). He has been consistently recognized in his areas of practice by specialized legal publications such as Chambers and Legal 500, among others.In the past, he has had academic participation in the Law Schools of both the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and the Argentine Catholic University (UCA), and in postgraduate master's programs at Austral University, among others.He was a partner at Marval O'Farrell Mairal, and a member of its Board of Directors, where he worked from 1993 until the date of his appointment at the CNV. Prior to joining Marval, he worked in other legal firms in Argentina. He also worked as a foreign associate for Shearman & Sterling in New York for part of 1991-1992.He has been Secretary of the Chamber of Trusts and Funds of Direct Investment in Productive Activities (CAFIDAP) since 2016. Also, he has been president of the Banking Law Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA), the association which gathers the international bar associations.He specializes in capital markets, project finance, trusts, banking law, and foreign exchange control; has been the author of numerous publications in his areas of specialization; and is a frequent speaker at various forums in his areas of expertise.-PT-BR um advogado formado pela Universidade de Buenos Aires (1988) e possui um LL.M pela Universidade de Illinois em Urbana Champaign (1991). Secretário da Câmara de Fideicomisos e Fundos de Investimento Direto em Atividades Produtivas (CAFIDAP) desde 2016. Também foi presidente do Comitê de Direito Bancário da Associação Internacional de Advogados (IBA), a associação que congrega as associações de advogados internacionais.Ele se especializa em mercados de capitais, financiamento de projetos, fideicomisos, direito bancário e controle de câmbio; publicou inúmeros trabalhos em suas áreas de especialização; e é um frequente palestrante em diversos fóruns em suas áreas de expertise.
